2Where are you located? Can I post my tapes to you?
We are based in South Australia at 24 Beulah Rd Norwood, but we service the whole of Australia. For an additional fee, we offer our interstate and country customers, a pickup and delivery service for you via Australia Post, using either Registered Post or Express Post, or TNT courier service. For Adelaide Metro customers, we can arrange pick up and deliveries via courier if that is easier for you.

4How do I pay?
We accept Cash and we also have an Eftpos machine for Debit & Credit Cards (MasterCard and Visa card). Plus you can pay online via EFT if your order is a postage order.
5How long does it take to transfer my VHS tapes and film reels to DVD?
It usually takes around 5-10 working days depending on how many jobs are in front of yours at the time your bring them in. If you need your DVD for a special occasion, please let us know and we usually can accommodate to work to a particular date. All the tapes and old films transfer to DVD in real time.
6Do you offer pensioner discount?
Yes make sure you mention this when you drop in your old film, all pension card holders are entitled to a 5% discount.
7Can you transfer old movies that I have on VHS?
We can only transfer your personal home family movies to DVD. For copyright reasons, we don’t transfer video tapes comprising of commercial movies, or VHS tapes of programs that you have recorded from the TV for commercial reasons.
8Why should I transfer my old VHS tapes to DVD when I still have a VHS machine?
Its best to transfer your VHS video tapes to DVD now before it’s too late!
• Many of the old video cassette recorders are now obsolete and most retailers don’t stock them any more
• Video tapes are too easy to damage
• Old VHS players can actually harm or destroy your VHS tapes – especially when they get caught and ‘chewed’ in the old machines.
9Can you repair damaged film?
We can splice out damaged parts and join undamaged parts of your VHS tapes & film reels, but the actual damaged parts can never be replaced
10How do VHS tapes get damaged?
Time is the main killer of the old VHS video tapes even when they are just sitting in the storage cupboard or boxes! Excess heat and moisture also ruins the VHS video tape footage as well as magnetic fields such as storing the tapes too close to your stereo speakers.
11What kind of home movies do people get transferred to DVD?
People have many family memories on VHS or old film reels that they want to transfer to DVD such as:
• Videos of their kids’ birthday parties and special events
• Videos of Christmas with the family and children
• Holiday videos, anniversaries or other special events
• Family members sporting achievements

12Can you edit up a compilation DVD for me?
Yes we do this often. At dvditnow.com.au we take pride in converting and transferring your Wedding, Holiday, Birthday and all your other home & family video recordings to DVD. People often like to have a compilation DVD made to show at special birthday parties (Eg; 40th Birthday, 50th Birthday, etc) or Anniversary celebrations and also for funerals. We can edit up a combination of photos and video with a music track for your special occasion DVD.

We also offer a service of editing up your baby’s first year footage and photos into a “Your Baby” DVD with a music sound track of your choice. Please ask us about our editing services. We have a fully equipped edit suite so we can also edit up special occasions such as your children’s birthday parties or sporting events into DVDs using only the footage that you want and with sound tracks of your choice.
